I love networking, socializing, and getting in touch with people! I am passionate, and in my blog I try to show a very positive image of social networking: it helps create a new world of opportunities!
Yes it does...If you do it right! You can contact anybody, but think about that person first: make some research, consult her/his profile, then be specific! She/he needs to find your contact request interesting. I am against "mass mailing" and "standard emails"!
Ecademy: volume is important... but quality is critical!
Please find below a screenshot of my mailbox: I received 12 "standard" messages from Ecademy or Thomas Power between April and October 2006. The worst: 8 out of 12 were sent in October!
I have known Thomas for more than 3 years now: he and his wife have done very well, but I still don't share Thomas vision which relies on volume, volume and volume: the more, the better! NO!____________________________________________________________________________________

Same case with me too Chris :) Loads of "support" e-mails. 22 in number on one single day sending me an EAP report - I didn't request it and I certainly do not subscribe to it.
