I definitely think the demographics have a lot to do with it. I love the openBC platform - I think they are by far the most technologically advanced of the bunch. But honestly, I don't use it all that much because I haven't found the groups there to get engaged with.

Intellectually, I love the idea of networking globally, but as a practical matter, when I go there and see so much in all the different languages... at least subconsciously, it feels like more work to filter down to the stuff that's relevant for me.

I wish that weren't the case - I don't want that to be the case, but I'm afraid it is.

I need to just dive in and make myself spend more time at openBC -- I know it's a great platform and I know it's hugely popular in continental Europe for a reason.
